Muroran plant
The Muroran Plant, where our materials production started, has played a valuable part in the development of Japan’s heavy industrial sector. Boasting the latest equipment, including a 14,000-ton hydraulic press and a 100-ton electro-slag remelting furnace, the plant manufactures a wide range of products, from cast and forged steel products to steel sheet and pipes, towers, industrial machinery, and environmental preservation systems and equipment.

Yokohama plant
In IT products, our Excimer Laser Annealing (ELA) system, enabling mass production of high-quality LCDs, has top share of its market. We have also developed and marketed devices for next-generation LCDs. The system has a high reputation both in Japan and overseas, thus following in the steps of our former leading products, plastics processing machines such as blow molding machines and extruders, and various other industrial machinery.
