The Japan Steel Works, Ltd.,
as its name suggests, began as a domestic producer
of steel products. With the help of some of
the world's largest production facilities, exemplified
by our 14,000-ton forging press, our broad range
of products includes large castings and forgings,
steel plates, and pressure vessels to support
global energy industries. Recently, the Company
completed construction of a new specially built
factory equipped with a 100-ton electro-slag
remelting (ESR) furnace for the production of
high-alloy steel and established a structure
that responds to the industrial need for new
advanced materials and components such as gas
turbines. Moreover, we are also engaged in the
production of the primary materials for wind
power generation, a clean energy source. |
