Future Initiatives
India is experiencing rapid industrial growth driven by strong economic expansion, population growth, and the government's ambitious Make in India initiative. The country's plastics production is expected to double over the next five years, creating significant opportunities for us, whose core products include plastic processing machinery. In addition, the Make in India program identifies electronics manufacturing as a strategic priority industry, and demand for printed circuit board manufacturing equipment is also expected to grow steadily.
Against this backdrop, the Bengaluru Office will serve as a key platform for strengthening the sales and service network for industrial machinery products in Southern India. The office will also function as a project office to explore and prepare initiatives aligned with the Make in India policy, including the establishment of local sourcing and supply capabilities, shorter delivery lead times through localized inventory, and stronger customer partnerships that contribute to the development of India's manufacturing sector.
Looking ahead, we are committed to deepening its presence in the Indian market and supporting the country's manufacturing growth through closer engagement with customers and partners. With an eye toward potential future local manufacturing operations, the Company plans to advance preparations for the establishment of a new operational base over the coming year, reinforcing its long-term commitment to one of the world's most dynamic and promising markets.
