Providing various types of the coupler for rolling stock.
The coupler connects railcars together and transmits the force generated during traction and propulsion.

In particular, the 'Nikko close contact automatic coupler' has a large number of delivery records since it was delivered to the old Japanese National Railways in 1953.

Tight Lock Couplers
Our tight lock couplers are used by JR and many public and private railroads.
There are two different types of couplers, one for high speed trains and another for general trains. BP and MR connections are available upon request.
Semi-permanent Couplers
A semi-permanent coupler couples intermediate railcars.
There are two types of couplers.
1. A coupler that can easily separate the railcar by removing four bolts
2. Clamping metal fixture type couplers
Impact Absorbing Couplers
Impact absorbing coupler has a function of absorbing and mitigating the impact when the railcar collides with an obstacle such as at a railroad crossing.
This coupler is mainly installed at the rear of the leading railcar.
Rod Type Couplers
Rod type couplers couple intermediate railcars with single shaft.
They are low cost and simple couplers with minimum maintenance requirements.
Automatic couplers
Our automatic couplers are known as Shibata-type couplers.
The head of the pin shaped automatic coupler main body is riveted to the main frame. An attachment to be fitted to allow swinging.
Additionally, with pin type which is connected by the pin to the frame body allows free swinging.
Automatic Tight Lock Couplers
Automatic tight lock couplers come in heavy duty (NCA type) and light duty (NCB type) variants. There is no slack in the coupling for superior passenger comfort and luggage stability.
