Enhanced Throughput
The CMP, which is primarily designed for processing polyolefin plastics, produces higher-quality pellets with greater throughput.
Flexible Mixing Mechanism
The twin screw extruder, CMP, arranged downstream in a linear configuration, contains two fully intermeshed co-rotating screws. Because the process zones are configured as "building block principle for cylinder and screw elements", the user can decide the optimum length of the mixing area for each specific processing requirement.
It is also possible, by increasing the length of the process section, to eliminate the need of a gear pump or to add a degassing system.
Uniform Mixing & optimum pellet Quality
To obtain optimum pellet quality, the user can arrange the kneading disks in the combination most appropriate to provide excellent mixing performance in the screw mixing area.
Pellet quality can also be controlled by adjusting the resin pressure in the mixing area using the slot disk, which is installed downstream from the screw mixing zone.
Expandable Application Range
Advanced mixing technology developed through compounding business opportunities can be utilized for clients' benefit. By using the latest mixing technology, extensive performance of mixing and dispersion is achieved and that creates additional range of application opportunities.
ADC Underwater Pelletizer
The standard underwater pelletizer consists of a fast-opening water chamber for safe and easy start-up, an automatic knife shaft pressing system to maintain good cutting, and a new internally-insulated TiC heat channel die plate that provides superior heat transfer efficiency and ensures no polymer freezing in die nozzles for completely continuous operation without downtime.
Gear Pump Option for Special Applications
A gear pump can be installed as an option in order to achieve higher polymer pressure for special applications; for example, for processing resin through a fine screen mesh or processing polymer of very high viscosity.
The pump features a rigid, non-contact type design and comes equipped with a timing gear system to prevent gear-tooth failure. Bearings are constructed of outstandingly wear-resistant alloy steel developed by JSW, to ensure smooth running without galling.
Applicable as Direct Compounding System
Thanks to advanced self-cleaning performance of CMP owing to its fully intermeshing co-rotating twin screw operating principle, CMP provides optimized screw configuration capable for dispersion and mixing.
Therefore, CMP has also excellent performance of direct compounding and multi-grade compounding where CMP is directly connected to polymerization reactor.
Smooth material Transport
The extruder arrangement, directly and straight forward, ensures smooth, stagnation-free transport of polymer from the mixing zone to the pelletizer.
