Continuous Intensive Mixer(CIM) is designed primarily for processing polyolefin plastics to produce higher quality pellets at higher throughputs.
CIM is the Twin Screw Extruder which has non-intermeshed, high-speed and supported at both ends twin screws.
"ROTARY SLOT BAR" is installed on downstream of the screw mixing zone to control the product quality by adjusting resin pressure at the mixing zone. This device is more effective against a short-pass and Oxygen intrusion from outside compared with the conventional gate valve style to achieve more uniform mixing of polymer.
Optimum pellets quality can be obtained by adopting the most appropriate high-performance rotors that give an excellent mixing behavior in screw rotors area.
The mixer designed with support at both ends promises effective and high-speed processing of fine particles of feed powder along with high throughput extrusion.
The horizontally arranged discharge barrel with patented design ensures smoother transport of polymer from the mixer side wall to the gear pump without any polymer stagnation.
Water-cooled, maintenance-free melt seal device without using conventional gland packing is adopted for the polymer seal of the mixer. The molten resin itself prevents leakage of polymer through the ends of screw discharge.
The mixer barrel end and the gear pump are rigidly connected on the horizontal plane to prevent polymer leakage at the horizontal plane and the connection flange. Thermal expansion of the mixer barrel is designed to move toward the upstream of the mixer side without affecting any influence of thermal expansion on underwater cut system.
