"TEX" is a product name of our twin screw extruder.
JSW began producing plastic machinery with a single screw extruder for wire-coating in 1950, and introduced its first twin screw extruder in 1979. JSW is solutions driven working closely with our customer in order to meet and/or exceed their ever changing needs and requirements.
The name "TEX" represents our firm confidence with long history and extensive experience with our customers.Extrusion Process Know-How Accumulated at the World's Largest Testing Facility
A wide range of models from TEX 25 to 65 are available for testing in our Hiroshima Works.
We are always ready to accept requests for prototyping, so even if this is the first time working on a process for you, we will support you so that you can study the specifications with confidence. We also welcome requests for tours only.We are particular about screw and cylinder materials as only a steel material manufacturer can be.
JSW is a comprehensive materials and mechatronics company.
Muroran, where the company was founded, has one of the world's leading cast and forged steel manufacturing facilities and a high level of knowledge about steel.
This DNA has been inherited in the "TEX" series, and we offer high quality materials developed independently. Our self-developed controller "EXANET" provides easy operation with multi-touch support. The controller is equipped with a wide variety of functions, allowing the entire extruder line to be controlled from a single screen.
A function that automatically predicts thrust bearing life based on operation data and notifies the user when it is time to replace the bearings at the optimum timing is also included as a standard feature. The latest feature is the "ASSIST MODE", which allows you to start up strand pellet production at the touch of a button by inputting the operation mode in advance.Advantages of twin-screw extruders
In general, twin-screw extruders offer the following advantages.Realization of continuous processing
The continuous process automates production.
This allows for higher productivity and lower costs.High flexibility
Various manufacturing processes can be made in-line and continuous by using different cylinders, screw configurations, and auxiliary equipment.
Various types of screw pieces are available, and their combination enables mixing suitable for each raw material.High self-wiping performance
The two screw shafts wipe each other (self-wiping), preventing material from remaining in the machine.
Moreover, deterioration of quality due to material retention on the screw and cylinder surfaces and material rotation is prevented, and stable discharge can be obtained even for materials with poor flowability. -
JSW's "TEX" series are made-to-order products, designed and manufactured one by one for each customer.
We will carefully listen to the issues the customer is facing and propose the optimum specifications.
A wide range of models are available, from cylinder diameters of 26.5mm to a maximum of 443mm.
If you have any problems with twin-screw extruders, please feel free to contact our nearest sales office.
